Nach dem das Portal zum Kurzfilme einreichen geschlossen wurde, nimmt das Aufnahmekomitee seine Arbeit auf. Es wird jeder eingereichte Kurzfilm angeschaut und anschießend bewertet. Tausende von Filmminuten später wird dann eine Auswahl getroffen.
Auch uns hat die Corona Pandemie leider einen Strich durch die Rechnung gemacht und unseren Zeitplan durcheinandergebracht. Deshalb wollen wir euch noch um ein klein wenig Geduld bitten, bis wir euch die Offizielle Auswahl verkünden.
Ein bunt gemischtes Team aus Filmemachern, Fotografen, Hobbyfilmer und Filmfreunde werden neben dem Kernteam der Chiemseer Kurzfilmtage die Auswahl treffen.
Die Grundlage ist eine Skala 0-10, die Ziffer 10 bedeutet absolut sehenswert, während die Ziffer 0 als nicht sehenswert bewertet wird.
So bald alle Mitglieder der Jury die Filme bewertet haben, werden sie mit folgenden Faktoren multipliziert.
Die Summe dieser Bewertungen werden anschließend mit dem Altersfaktor des Regisseurs multipliziert. Errechnen lässt sich dieser Altersfaktor wie folgt e^(0.13*(-„Alter des Regiseurs“+10))+1. Schließlich schaffen es dann den Kurzfilm mit der besten Bewertung in das Festivalprogramm.
Admission Procedure
When the submisson form has closed the judges are going to start with their job. They will watch every single short film and rate them one by one. Thousands of film minutes later as the judges are finished, they will handpick the official selection.
We also got thrown off track due to the current pandemic and as a result our schedule has been setback for a couple of months. On these grounds, we ask for some more patience, until we announce the Official Selection.
The jury is a mixture of filmmakers, photographers, film-lovers and of course the team of the Chiemseer Kurzfilmtage, which will select the movies carefully for showing in the cinema on the 20th and 21st of July 2019.
The foundation is a scale, consisting of the numbers 0-10. The number 10 means that the film is well worth seeing, in contrast 0 being not enjoyable.

As soon as the judges are finished, the rating will be multiplied by these numbers below.

The sum of the ratings will then be multiplied with the director’s age factor. Your age factor is calculated by e^(0.13*(-„dirctor’s age“+10))+1. Finally, the shortfilms with the best ratings will be accepted into the selection.
